Some great photography books for your collection

I have always been a believer that you can learn a great deal about photography by owning and reading a good library of photo books (or studying instructional DVDs). My parents used to buy me at least one big monograph every Christmas and I still have all of them--they're probably the best presents I ever got (other than the pets!). Here are some of the books that I own and that you might find interesting. By ordering them through this page you help pay for the hosting fees of the site--and you support these great writers and photographers--so thanks! Some of the books are very how-to oriented and some are monographs. Also, there is a mix of books for beginners vs advanced--so write to me if you need more info about that than is on the Amazon pages. Click on any book and it will take you directly to Amazon. By the way, I own every book & DVD listed here and wouldn't put them on this page if I didn't. I'm also going to feature books on my blog in the upcoming weeks, so check those reviews out, too.
